Director’s Statement
'Mammalian' was a labour of love shot over the course of a 46-day, 2,000 km wilderness canoe journey through Canada's Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Utilizing two lightweight HD cameras, a magic arm, tripod, and solar-charging system we continuously shot through thunderstorms, bug attacks, and rough water with no shelter but our tent. Immersing into this environment allowed us to create an intimate, fun and graphic view of the largest wilderness area in North America.
